Police are investigating several burglaries that were reported over the weekend across Central Vermont.
An East Montpelier resident of Perkins Road reported a box of $2 bills, a gold watch and about 4 sets of gold and silver cufflinks were stolen from his home sometime between Oct. 28 and Sunday at around 2:15 p.m.
In Washington, thieves stole several chain saws and various tools from Duranleau Construction on Rte. 11o, by kicking out a garage window, sometime between 12 noon and 7:15 p.m. on Sunday.
And, in Orange, someone broke into the Town Garage and swiped a filled gas can, a battery-operated grease gun and a metal saw, again by smashing through one of the garage windows, sometime between 2:45 p.m. on Friday and about 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Police also reported that they are looking into three burglaries in West Fairlee that occurred over the weekend of Nov. 2 to Nov. 5 on Bear Notch Road. Three homes on the road were broken into with the thieves using force to enter the residences.
