Search continues for missing Rutland woman

RUTLAND – Vermont State Police say a missing Fair Haven woman may be in the company of a Missouri man.

Police say Benjamin Davis, 35, of Dixon, Mo., is in a relationship with 31-year-old Jessica Flanders and that phone records indicate they are traveling together.

Flanders was reported missing Sunday and police say that her “limited mobility, medical needs and mental status” are cause for concern. Police also said they had conflicting information on whether Flanders is with Davis willingly.

Police said Davis may be traveling with his two children, aged 13 and 9, and that he owns a black Toyota Celica that may cary the Missouri license plate PJ1D1G.

Police are asking anyone with information on Flanders’ whereabouts to call 775-8002 or 773-9101 or text, using the keyword “VTIPS” to 274637. Tips may also be left online at vtips.info.
