BETHEL — Vermont State Police are investigating a string of burglaries in Bethel.
Authorities say they received five reports of burglaries that happened in the area of Dartt Hill Road on Monday afternoon while the homeowners were gone.
They say the intruders broke into the homes and took items including cash, coins, prescription drugs and jewelry. One resident also reported a firearm stolen.
Investigators believe the burglaries are connected.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
