HYDE PARK — Vermont State Police who arrested a man on drug and traffic charges have found 2 ounces of cocaine in a cornfield after a brief chase.
Police said they stopped a car on Route 15 in Hyde Park on Sunday night and found evidence of marijuana and crack-cocaine in the car. They said the driver, 34-year-old Jesse Rodriquez of West Camp, N.Y., ran down a steep bank and across a cornfield, where he was apprehended by police.
A police dog helped officers find the cocaine.
