BURLINGTON — The office of Vermont’s federal prosecutor says a Northfield man is going to prison for more than eight years after he was convicted of child pornography charges.
Prosecutors say that a forensic examination of the computers determined that Robert Gray had installed file-sharing software on computers that he used to download child pornography and to share child pornography with others.
More than 1,000 images and many videos containing child pornography were found on the computers.
Gray was indicted last March and pleaded guilty to the charges in September. He has been incarcerated since his arrest at the time his computers were seized in February.
