Machester man hospitalized after shooting

MANCHESTER — A Vermont police department says a Manchester Center man is hospitalized in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police say another man went into the Manchester police department at about 8:30 Sunday night and said the shooting victim was in his car.
The victim, 27-year-old Donald Ely-Gardner, was taken to the hospital and later airlifted to Albany Medical Center.
Police did not describe the circumstances of the shooting or say who brought Ely-Gardner to the police department.
The investigation is continuing.
