RANDOLPH – Vermont State Police say a family driving home Saturday night after spending Thanksgiving with relatives crashed into an oven sitting in the middle of the roadway.
The Nadeau family, from South Burlington, was driving north on Interstate 89 in Randolph when they hit a brand new Kenmore oven, still inside the box, around 5 p.m. State police say the crash caused moderate damage to the front end of the vehicle and completely destroyed the oven.
The state police advise people transporting bulky or oversized items to make sure they are properly secured to the vehicle.
